Product Presentation at Formnext 2017 – Stand 3.1-A32

With its product lines LUVOSINT® and LUVOCOM® 3F, the LEHVOSS Group is presenting innovative and customized plastics for 3D printing. These products have been adapted to the most common production processes, such as powder fusion and fused filament fabrication (FFF). Alongside already established materials, which are being used in series applications, new developments in the fields of high-temperature and reinforced materials are also being premiered. Examples include easy-to-print PAEK materials free of warpage with optimized z strength. Support for the development of materials and customer components comes from the new 3D pilot printing plant.

Airskin® by Blue Danube Robotics. 3D-printed sensitive skin made of LUVOSINT® TPU for man-machine interaction

Also being presented is a new safety concept for robotics, which has been made possible by LUVOSINT® TPU. Airskin is a development by Blue Danube Robotics and permits safer man-machine interaction. This process involves (individually) enveloping the robot with a sensitive, printed TPU skin. It currently represents the safest system of its kind.

The LEHVOSS Group under the management of Lehmann&Voss&Co. is a group of companies in the chemicals sector that develops, produces and markets chemical and mineral specialities for various industrial clients. Lehmann&Voss&Co., Hamburg, was founded in 1894 as a trading company. Since that time, the owner-run company has evolved into a powerful global organization – with long-standing connections to prominent, mainly foreign suppliers and with own production sites.

LUVOCOM® high-performance compounds as well as LUVOSINT® and LUVOCOM® 3F additive manufacturing solutions extend the range of applications for plastics and ensure that the products produced from them in many industries are able to reliably fulfil their function. The compounds with exactly defined properties are based on almost all available thermoplastics and are tailor-made to individual customer requirements.
